RBI Grade B Prelims Results Released: Download Merit List

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the Grade 'B' Prelims results on September 20, 2024. The RBI Grade B Prelims written exam was conducted on September 8, 2024. The recruitment notification was released earlier this year for various positions of Grade-B Officer, including Generalist, DEPR, and DSIM.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their results from the official RBI website, rbi.org.in, starting from August 29, 2024.

RBI Grade B 2024 Important Dates

The RBI Grade B notification was released on July 25, 2024. Candidates could apply online for RBI Grade B 2024 from July 25 to August 16, 2024. The RBI Grade B Phase-I online exam was held on September 8 (for General) and September 14 (for DEPR and DSIM).

The RBI Grade B Phase-II exam is scheduled for October 19, 2024 (for General) and October 26, 2024 (for DEPR and DSIM).

RBI Grade B Qualification

Age Limit: The age limit for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 is 21-30 years. The cutoff date for calculating the age limit is July 1, 2024. Age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

The RBI Grade B Recruitment advertises three types of vacancies. The post-wise educational qualification is listed below.

• Grade-B (General): Graduate with 50% Marks OR Post Graduate (PG) with 55% Marks in any stream.
• Grade-B (DEPR): Post Graduate (PG) in Economics/PGDM/MBA Finance.
• Grade-B (DSIM): Post Graduate (PG) in Maths/ Statistics.

RBI Grade B Vacancies

RBI has announced a total of 94 vacancies, including 66 vacancies for Grade B (General), 21 vacancies for DEPR, and 7 vacancies for DSIM. The RBI Grade B notification was released on July 19, 2024, along with the vacancy details.

RBI Grade-B 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for the RBI Grade B includes five stages: Preliminary Written Test, Mains Written Test, Interview, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2024

RBI Grade B (General) Prelims Exam Pattern

The Prelims Exam Pattern for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 includes 200 questions for 200 marks from subjects including General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The time duration of the exam is 2 hours. Separate time will be allotted for each portion (subject) of the exam.

RBI Grade B (General) Mains Exam Pattern

The RBI Grade B Mains exam includes three papers.

Paper-I (Economics and Social Issues)

RBI Grade B Mains Paper-I includes the subject of Economics and Social Issues (50% Objective and 50% Subjective). The time duration of the objective exam is 30 minutes, and the time duration of the subjective exam is 90 minutes. There are a total of 100 marks (50 each) for the objective and subjective exams.

Paper II (English- Written Skills)

The Paper-II of the RBI Grade B Mains exam consists of a descriptive paper of 100 marks. The paper is designed to test the English writing skills of the candidates. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

Paper-III (General Finance and Management)

Paper-III is 50% Objective and 50% Subjective. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and the total marks of the exam are 100 (50 for each objective and subjective).
